Find a Book a Home Foundation

Find A Book A Home Foundation/History Makers of the Future

The Foundation was established in 2004 to help provide books to children and the elderly and at the same time it helps to save our Earth's natural resources by recycling gently used books. Find a Book a Home Motto is "Put a book in a child's hand and light up a dream" The Foundation was incorporated in 2007 as a non-profit corporation

The Foundation along with its sponsors also provide transportation, meals and entry fees for all children on the History Maker trips which helps children get an early start on learning Indiana History which is a required subject for all Indiana 4th grade students.

In 2008 high school students were added to the program to help act as mentors and encourage children to learn from the past.

The foundation would like to thank CVS PHARMACY, Horace Mann Insurance, Coca Cola, Johnson County Youth Philanthropy Initiative, Clark Pleasant School Corporation, Historic Madison Inc., Kroger, Jefferson County Historical Society, the American Legion, Madison Visitors' Center, Frito Lay, Hostess, the State of Indiana, and Greenwood Optimist Club.
